Imagine the possibilities if you honoured the needs of your body, calmed your mind and listened to your soul.
Why is it that it feels so hard to care for our mind, body and soul? Here's why I think many of us struggle, in one word: expectations. All too often we feel pushed and pulled to follow a life path that is expected of us, that many others have walked before us, or that others think is 'best'. We end up making choices based on what we 'should' do or what 'most people' do; without enough respect for what we truly desire and need. Sometimes we get courageous enough to veer from the well worn paths; unfortunately this can leave us feeling icky stuff like alone, misunderstood and guilty. However, living our lives according to our inner compass is the most important and valuable thing we can do for our health and happiness, it's the recipe for a wholehearted life.

Many of us have forgotten that we are unique, we are here to experience a journey which will be ours, and only ours. We may share our journeys with others: friends, family, colleagues, partners- but we are the only ones who will ever walk in our shoes.
It is absolutely possible to find the strength to hear and honour your truth, to live your life wholeheartedly and in a way which works for you (without becoming overwhelmed by icky feelings). There are many roads leading to the top of the mountain, here I share some of the best ways I've discovered, to assist in this precious journey.
